Congratulations!

Congratulations to our class Spelling Bee winners, Joseph, Brinly, Savannah, and Kelzey!!  You had the utmost poise, confidence, and courage in front of the school, and we were proud to have you represent our class!  Thank you each for working so hard and for doing your best.  It's not easy to think clearly when a whole school is watching you, but you each acted beyond your years and except for size, it was hard to tell the third graders from the sixth graders.  Way to go!! 

Thank you each for participating in the class Spelling Bee.  It's important to take advantage of opportunities to learn and grow, and to do hard things.  When we do, we become better people and learn that we CAN do hard things and are all the better for it, even if it doesn't turn out the way we hope.  I'm proud of each of you and count it an honor to be your teacher.
